This large ecommerce site was built on the WordPress CMS and displays a huge range of vintage items for sale. One of the biggest problems to solve was taxonomy: that is, categorising very diverse products both new and vintage. And this whilst making them easy to find, both from the home page, main navigation and footer. For visual style, presenting a ‘vintage Victorian feel’ whilst maintaining clarity was key. Straight-forward features included built-in product enquiry forms and search, plus a news page and Facebook feed.
